Refund and Cancellation Policy
At Yug Art Creations, your happiness is our highest priority! We work tirelessly to provide the best quality and service. In compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) and international e-commerce standards, our policy is as follows:
1. General Terms
Product Descriptions: We urge you to read all product specifications and descriptions carefully before placing an order.
Nature of Goods: Our products include stone wall murals, panels, and wash basins which are unique and handmade. As these are specialized goods, we do not offer returns or refunds for “change of mind” or subjective dissatisfaction.
Maximum Liability: In no scenario will a refund amount exceed the original order or item value for which the claim is made.
2. Special Exceptions for Refunds
Refunds or replacements may be initiated under the following specific circumstances:
Damage in Transit: If the product arrives damaged. A mandatory continuous unboxing video is required to process these claims.
Wrong or Inadequate Items: If the wrong product is shipped or the quantity is inadequate.
Out of Stock: If an item becomes unavailable after payment, a refund for that item and its proportionate shipping cost will be initiated automatically.
Lost in Transit: If the carrier marks a shipment as “delivered” but you have not received it, you must report this immediately.
Note: Proof of Delivery (POD) data is only available for 48 hours. Claims made after this window cannot be entertained.
3. Claim Procedure
Timeframe: All claims must be reported via email to care@yugartcreations.com within 48 hours of delivery for damage/missing items, and within five days for other exceptions.
Evidence: You must attach the unboxing video and photographs of the artwork and packaging to facilitate your request.
Verification: Please allow up to five working days for our team to verify the authenticity of the request.
4. Processing of Refunds
Store Credit: Unless otherwise requested, successful refunds are issued as store credit with no expiry date.
Refund to Source: If a refund to the original payment method is approved:
Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking: Typically takes 7–10 business days to appear in your account due to banking policies.
UPI: Usually credited within 24 hours.
5. Cancellations & Shipping Delays
Cancellation: Orders placed through www.yugartcreations.com and paid for cannot be cancelled by the customer once processing has begun.
Shipping Delays: While we partner with reputable couriers, Yug Art Creations and Yug Advisors are not responsible for delivery or pickup delays. No refunds will be issued for delays in dispatch or transport.
Customer Refusal (RTO): If delivery is refused or a “Return to Origin” is requested, shipping and RTO charges will be deducted from any eligible remaining refund amount.
6. Governing Law
These policies are governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ramgarh Cantt, Jharkhand.
